Born along time ago during a cold winter in Barcelona (ES) is a multidisciplinar artist based in Vienna (AT).
From the exercise of performance, drawing and video, Laia's work reflects on time issues, related to her studies in Fine Arts and the unfinish Arquitecture studies.
The practice is developed through live experience, from appropiation and by exploring boundaries between life and art of her generation.
When in collaboration with Thomas Kasebacher the work arises from focusses on subjects around contemporary life and notion of community. Collaboration is a way to learn but also a way to show that different groups in society can work together.
